Hello fellow GP2Xers,

I have been very unhappy with the native GP2X music/mp3 player since I first started using the GP2X. The problem is that it only plays mp3 files at half speed. I have tried this with a variety of mp3s and they all act the same. I have downloaded several other players, but even though they play the files correctly, each has its own indivual problem-- no rewind, no fast forward, no pause, no bookmark function for podcasts, etc. Any idea what the problem may be and how I can fix it? At the same time, does anybody have a recommendation for a decent mp3 player to download that would actually work well with podcasts?

Never tried MP3's, never needed it so, so can't comment on this.

You could try installing other programs, they are capable of playing more formats as I've read.

I've got the same problem, but it plays anything streo well, but plays mano slow.
