Current one isn't 100% open source, so new one CANNOT be a 100% open source too.

4 - New device will be 100% compatible with GP2X F-100 and F-200. (I don't know how they will maintain this as they can't keep the backwards compatibility between firmware versions.)

Also the hardware is pretty poor, we rejected that SOC for the Pandora quite some time ago as it is really old and inefficient tech.

Haha, they'll probably go a step further and actually *market* the thing as a sat nav, steadfastly refusing to acknowledge people play games on it, then release a (slightly) upgraded version featuring unauthorised homebrew games on the NAND. Hmm, strangely familiar

dat is behoorlijk grappig, niet om de pandora af te kraken ofzo maar die heeft wel een van 800x480 resolutie , dit hier is echte fan talk.

voor de rest is het wel een grote vooruitgaand tegenover de GP2X, de specs van de pandora vegen wel de vloer aan met dit, hoewel met deze nieuwe GPH units zou het aan de specs te zien +/- 1.5 MPolys/sec "tegen de SGX530 (14 MPolys/sec) van pandora" wel moegelijk moeten zijn om de PSX te emulaten, maarjah GPH is helemaal bewust van pandora's spec dus de vraag is of ze voor de goedkopere maar toch interesante unit gaan of voor een duurdere monster om tegen de pandora de race aan te gaan.

either way het wordt veel interesanter voor ons de open source lovers now
